SHEET 02Process

Four steps, start to settled

You approve the number before anything moves, and nothing is averaged across the lot.

01

Send the inventory

A rough list works. An asset export or a photo of the rack elevation works better.

02

We price it

A written offer, line by line, within one business day. Nothing is averaged across the lot.

03

We handle shipping

Prepaid label for small lots. Pallets, wrap, liftgate, dock appointment and BOL for the big ones.

04

You get paid

ACH once the shipment is checked in against the agreed list. Wire on request.

SHEET 03Range

What we buy

Whole racks, partial refreshes, or the components left after you've pulled what you're keeping. There is no minimum — ten drives is a real order.

Not sure what yours is worth? Read the valuation guide. Only got a few bits? Small lots are welcome — there is no minimum.

SHEET 04Logistics

Shipping is the hard part. We own it.

Ten drives or ten pallets, we pay for the shipping and you approve the number first. Here is exactly how it runs, so nothing lands on your facilities team.

  • 01

    Small lots — prepaid label

Under a pallet, we email you a prepaid parcel label. Box it, hand it over, done. Nothing to pay and nothing to arrange.

  • 02

    Palletizing

We supply pallets, wrap and straps. In selected metros we de-rack on site so your team never touches a screwdriver.

  • 03

    Dock or liftgate

Tell us which you have. We book the right equipment rather than turning up and finding out.

  • 04

    Appointment windows

Pickup scheduled inside your facility's receiving hours, with a named carrier and a reference before the truck rolls.

  • 05

    BOL and insurance

Bill of lading issued ahead of pickup. Insured in transit at the agreed offer value.

SHEET 05Valuation

What moves the number

We price each unit on what the hardware is worth back in service. Configuration drives the offer — nothing here is weighed.

01

Generation

The single biggest factor. A 15th-gen chassis is worth a multiple of a 13th-gen one, same badge on the front.

02

CPU model

Core count and clock. Two identical chassis can sit hundreds of dollars apart on the SKUs inside.

03

Memory fitted

Leave the DIMMs in. Populated memory is frequently worth more than the chassis around it.

04

Caddies and rails

Small parts, real money. Empty caddies, rail kits and bezels all add to the line.

05

Power supplies

Dual PSUs fitted price above a single, and well above a chassis shipped with none.

06

Uniformity

Forty matched nodes out of one refresh price better per unit than forty mixed boxes.

SHEET 06Questions

Straight answers

How fast do I get a number?

Within one business day for most inventories. The offer is written and broken out per unit against what you sent, so you can see exactly what each line is worth before you commit to anything.

Is there a minimum?

No. Ten drives out of one array is a real order and so is a full row out of a facility close. Small lots ship on a prepaid label we send you; anything on pallets goes by freight we arrange and pay for.

Why aren't your prices on the site?

Because two servers of the same model can be worth very different money — the CPUs, memory, drives, caddies and power supplies all move it. Any published figure would be wrong for most people. We'd rather price your actual list and give you a real number.

What happens with the drives?

Your call, and it's a pricing question rather than anything else. Keep them and we price the chassis without; include them and we price them into the offer. Tell us which when you send the list.

How and when do you pay?

ACH once the shipment is checked in against the agreed list, typically the same day it lands. Wire on request. We don't pay cash, and ID is required prior to payment.

Do you pull equipment out of the rack yourselves?

In selected metros, yes — we de-rack, palletize and load on site. Everywhere else we send pallets and packaging ahead of the pickup and walk your team through it.

Do you buy equipment that doesn't power on?

No. We buy hardware that was working when it came out of service, because we sell it on to be used again.

Have a refresh coming?

Send the inventory list — any quantity, anywhere in the USA. You'll have a written, per-unit offer back within one business day.
