Dell PowerEdge
13th through 16th generation — R630 and R730 up to R650, R750 and R660. The most common thing we see and the easiest to price quickly.
Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Cisco UCS and Supermicro — 1U through 4U. One server out of a closet or a full row out of a facility close.
Whole racks, partial refreshes, or the boxes left over once you have kept what you need.
13th through 16th generation — R630 and R730 up to R650, R750 and R660. The most common thing we see and the easiest to price quickly.
Gen9 through Gen11 — DL360, DL380, DL325, DL385 and the DL560/DL580 four-socket boxes.
SR630, SR650, SR635 and SR655, plus the SR850 four-socket line. A thinner market than Dell or HPE, but a real one.
C220 and C240 rack mounts M4 through M6, and B-series blades with their chassis. Tell us whether the FIs are going too.
1U and 2U SuperServers, including GPU and storage-dense builds. Model number off the chassis label is all we need.
DGX systems and self-built training nodes. The strongest per-unit numbers we write — list the accelerators separately if you can.
We price each unit on what it is worth back in service. Configuration drives the offer — nothing here is weighed.
The single biggest factor. A 15th-gen chassis is worth a multiple of a 13th-gen one with the same badge on the front.
Core count and clock. Two identical chassis can sit hundreds of dollars apart on the SKUs inside, so the service tag is worth sending.
Leave the DIMMs in. Populated memory is frequently worth more than the chassis around it, and pulling it costs you both ways.
Small parts, real money. Empty caddies, rail kits, bezels and cable-management arms all add to the line.
Dual PSUs fitted price above a single, and well above a chassis shipped with none. Send them even if they are loose.
Forty matched nodes out of one refresh price better per unit than forty mixed boxes of similar vintage.
The route changes with the size of the lot. What does not change is that we pay for it and you approve the number first.
One or two servers go by parcel on our account. We email the label; you box them with the rails and hand them over.
We supply pallets, wrap and straps, book the carrier and issue the bill of lading ahead of pickup. Insured in transit at the agreed offer value.
In selected metros we come and do it — unrack, palletize and load, so your team never touches a screwdriver.
Tell us which you have and your receiving hours. We book the right equipment rather than turning up and finding out.
We check every shipment against the agreed list on arrival, tell you what we found, and pay by ACH — typically the same business day it lands.
Wrapped, strapped, cornerboarded
No. One server out of a closet is a normal order, and so is a full row out of a facility close. Small lots ship on a prepaid label; anything on pallets goes by freight we arrange and pay for.
Per unit, on what the hardware is worth back in service. Generation first, then the CPUs, the memory fitted, the drives and caddies, the power supplies and the rails. Nothing is weighed and nothing is averaged across the lot.
Because two servers of the same model can be worth very different money depending on what is inside them. Any published figure would be wrong for most people. Send the list and we'll price your actual configuration.
No — it usually costs you money. Populated memory is frequently worth more than the chassis around it, and caddies, rails and bezels all add to the line. The one genuine decision is the drives, and that is a commercial choice we'll walk you through.
Dell 13th generation through 16th, HPE Gen9 through Gen11, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Cisco UCS M4 through M6 and Supermicro of equivalent vintage. Older than that gets thin, but send the list and we'll tell you plainly.
Only if you own them outright or are authorised by the owner to sell. Kit still subject to a lease, finance agreement or retention of title is not yours to sell, and we check. See our terms.
No. We buy hardware that was working when it came out of service, because we sell it on to be used again. If part of the lot is questionable, flag it when you send the list.
ACH once the shipment is checked in against the agreed list, typically the same business day it lands. Wire on request. We don't pay cash, and ID is required prior to payment.
Send the list — one server or a full row, anywhere in the USA. Written per-unit offer back within one business day.
